Welcome to TheoShare

TheoShare is the name of our web site. The name is short for Theocratic Sharing which is what we do. We share helpful technology goodies with our worldwide brotherhood of Jehovah's Witnesses. Also known as JW's, we are a people who enjoy tools that make life more fun.(Note: We are still working on how to keep our visitors informed of changes. Twitter was a bust and we still haven't figured out RSS, but someday soon we hope to have something that works.)

Some of our materials were built exclusively for us by our friends. Other materials are uploaded by visitors. We carefully screen everything posted for download to ensure there are no malware infections such as a virus or Trojan horse lurking.

We create assembly and convention notebooks to help our visitors take notes. We have some freeware programs here as well, some we created and some provided by others.

Besides all these things we also have historic audio clips in MP3 format which are part of our theocratic history. We have bookmarks too for the current Bible reading in the Theocratic Ministry School.

We also have pages and pages of useful links. Most are to sites operated by brothers and sisters, although some are useful secular sites. We make serious efforts to make clear if a link is secular or one operated by brothers and sisters.

We invite our visitors to let us know when they find something useful so it can be posted here. Links can include a documents, software or an entire site. Send information using the Contact Us menu option.

Our site is all about sharing good things with each other. We invite you to become a TheoSharer and join in doing good things with technology.

Since 2002 we have been host to nearly 2.4 million brothers and sisters from 190+ countries around the globe. Our visitors routinely download over a million files annually. It's our hope that you enjoy your visit.

A brief history of TheoShare

Back in 2002 a small number of brothers saw that there didn't exist a good place for technology to be shared with our brothers and sisters. We thought about that for a while and then came to the conclusion that "sharing" should be the central idea of such a site.

Handheld Devices

The rapid rise of smart phones and hand held devices has created an explosion of software (apps). Besides apps for the ministry, congregation activity, etc., a popular use is installing Watchtower Library. We have published a number of links related to these purposes.

Recent Discoveries

When information comes our way about other sites operated by Jehovah's Witnesses who have interesting technology to share, we publish the links. The details opens to a page of new (to us anyway) sites of interest.

Site Lock

We have an added service for our web site, called "Site Lock", it scans our site daily for malware infections and other bad things which can happen. It gives our site an added security feature.
