Other Database Libraries

We have several other libraries that use the same document management software as our Illustrations Library.   These are small enough to fit within the shareware limits, so may be used for testing the software.   If the 2 default libraries that come with the software are removed, then 3 of these libraries can be installed.

The installers do not check for the existence of the software, but will blindly place the libraries in My Documents\DocsPDite ready to be imported by the software, but this can only happen if DocsPDite 2010 is installed.   Since this method is different than the one used by Illustrations Library, we prepared a video demonstrating how this is done.   This video has no callouts or audio but should be sufficient to let users see how to install up to 3 of our libraries (not illustrations) in the non-activated version of the software for testing purposes.   View Video

Eusebius' Early Church History Version:2.0

This is an older database library that has been updated for the new edition of the underlying document manager (DocsPDite 2010), and will only work with that version. There is no need for an activated version as this library fits within the shareware limits and so can be used to test the software.

Eusebius was a church historian from about the time of Constantine and it can be clearly seen that he knew how to flatter the emperor. Despite this, however, some information is useful. For instance, he is the source of us knowing the Christians fled to the Decapolis and avoiding the destruction of Jerusalem in 70CE. He is referenced or quoted about 255 times in Watchtower Library (2009)

This is a fully-indexed copy of the book Government, written by Brother Rutherford and published by the Society in 1928. Useful for historical purposes.

Object and Manner of our Lord's Return (C. T. Russell) Version:2.0

The Object and Manner of our Lord's Return is the name of a small booklet written by Brother Russell in 1877 while still associated with Nelson Barbour.   Later, Brother Russell departed company from Barbour due to his rejection of the ransom and then in 1879 began publishing Zion's Watch Tower and Herald of Christ's Presence. .   This is an indexed database using the same engine as our Illustrations Library, but is small enough for the trial edition.

The Collected Works of Flavius Josephus in a database library.   Useful for historical references.   Driven by the same database software, DocsPDite, as our Illustrations Library.   Small enough to work with the trial edition of the software.
