Memorial Week 2010 — A chart matching the Hebrew calendar to the Gregorian calendar for memorial week of 2010. Makes for easy reading of the events during the week leading up to and after Jesus' death and resurrection. Color coded for easy printing/reading. [PNG] Portable Network Graphics (JPG) format. This is a graphic which is almost 14 x 19 inches in size. So it scales very well to an 8.5 x 11 landscape mode. To print, a graphics editing program (Google GIMP for a nice free one). We used PhotoShop to print ours and it scaled very nicely. If you have access to a large format printer, then 11 x 17 is a great option too. The colors help distinguish each day from another very well. You must keep in mind that the Hebrew day overlaps the Gregorian day and the offset in the chart is nicely done. (The thumbnail is from last years' chart but only the dates have changed, the colors are the same)

Requires Windows XP, Vista (may work on Windows 7 too), Access 2007 OR the free Access 2007 Runtime. Author's e-mail address for questions and support is in the documentation. (Note that it is NOT necessary to purchase MS Office, just click the Access 2007 runtime link and install that first. This must be done if MS Office pro doesn't exist on the target machine.)

Songbook Comparison Chart — Ministry Ideaz (click to visit their site) has kindly shared with us and our visitors a much improved chart showing the differences between the various songbooks, going back to 1966 and in Spanish too. It's provided in Excel format (Microsoft Office or Open Office to view/print) and can be sorted in various ways. A lot of extra material has been provided too so it's easy to see the differences. Quite a nice job they've done and we're glad to have this update. If you need ministry supplies stop by but even if not, they have some nice downloads too. The Assigner is freeware designed to assist congregation elders or ministerial servants with the scheduling of groups and brothers for Kingdom Hall maintenance and meeting attendant duty. Readme and Instructions are in PDF format (click those links to download). Very little keyboard data entry is necessary – about 30 names. Runs on Windows XP or Vista. Requires either Access 2007 or the free Access 2007 runtime. Note that it is not necessary to purchase MS Office with Access if the runtime is used. We borrowed the graphic from the previous notebook and using a format from last year created a notebook with a more consistent style. For parts (songs, etc) where there are no notes to be taken, those items are in the color “plum” as is the title above. All parts where notes can be taken are shown in green text. Full times are shown with extra pages for the Public Bible Discourse on Sunday morning.
