Links Policy
We are glad to provide links to other websites operated by Jehovah's Witnesses. Some of these sites are commercial; intended for the operator to make money from the site, while others are non-profit meaning that the operator is not earning money from the site's existence. Such links make it easy for our visitors to find other things they may be interested in and saves search time.
So, exactly what are TheoShare's criteria for making a decision regarding any specific site? They are:
1) The site is useful and theocratically themed. This means that if we link to a commercial site operated by a brother or sister, it is directly or indirectly related to theocratic activity. Thus we provide links to businesses that provide travel arrangements for groups visiting Bethel homes. We also link to sites that sell ministry supplies or software. It's easy to see that we do not link to sites where brothers sell items or services that aren't connected with being one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
2) The site does not have any objectionable materials or links. We try hard to keep our links up to date, and do not link to sites that offer questionable materials or links. Some of such sites may link to ours but we do not reciprocate. So you won't find links to discussion forums, dating services and other such sites on our pages. Let us know if you find something that should not be here. With the fluid nature of the net, sites sometimes go bad on us.
3) Other language sites. English is our native tongue and we've not able to read other languages. However, we do have translation software that enables us to check out sites in French, Spanish, Italian and German. When you follow a link to another language from here, please exercise proper care when doing so and let us know if you find something wrong on pages that we link to.
4) TheoShare's editorial decision is final. Since we pay for this site, we are the final judge as to whether or not any specific link is posted. We do not solicit reciprocal links to our site and having a link to us is not required for us to provide a link to any individual site. We're not interested in traffic building schemes nor do we sell link or banner advertising.
