Database Libraries:
In addition to our Illustrations Library, we have other database libraries. All these were developed with the same database engine software. The libraries on this page will fit within the shareware limits of the program, so they are useful for testing the program before purchase.
All our libraries are free, but the software must be purchased from its publisher — PragmaDigm. We made the choice of that particular program based on a combination of features and low price.
Our databases presently are:
1) The Collected Works of Flavius Josephus. This is the English translation from the mid 1600's that is in the public domain. It's completely categorized and fully indexed by the program. The quotes related to Jesus and the Pharisee teaching on the bosom of Abraham (recounted in Jesus' illustration of Lazarus and the rich man) are broken out into their own entries.
2) Foxes Christian Martyrs. Written by John Foxe , English author who wrote this account of Protestant martyrs during the reign of Mary I in 1563. This is a public domain work.
We have other works in the planning/development stages. We will provide these other libraries as time permits. Things in the works are early works by Brother Russell, Eusebius' Early Church History and others.
