New World Translation now available in PDF and EPUB (English only)
New digital format downloads at jw.org
We had the opportunity today to check our the Society's download site and found the new digital format downloads are beginning to appear. For right now, the only publication we could find is the New World Translation (English only) in both EPUB and PDF format. Should make getting the Bible onto your smart phone very easy!! Follow the link below and scroll down until the words "New Digital Downloads Are Available" appear and follow the link shown there.
Note that this information appears in other languages we checked as well including French, Spanish, Italian and German. However the download is English only as of 25 June 2011.

A brief history of TheoShare
Back in 2002 a small number of brothers saw that there didn't exist a good place for technology to be shared with our brothers and sisters. We thought about that for a while and then came to the conclusion that "sharing" should be the central idea of such a site.
Handheld Devices
The rapid rise of smart phones and hand held devices has created an explosion of software (apps). Besides apps for the ministry, congregation activity, etc., a popular use is installing Watchtower Library. We have published a number of links related to these purposes.
Recent Discoveries
When information comes our way about other sites operated by Jehovah's Witnesses who have interesting technology to share, we publish the links. The details opens to a page of new (to us anyway) sites of interest.
Site Lock
We have an added service for our web site, called "Site Lock", it scans our site daily for malware infections and other bad things which can happen. It gives our site an added security feature.
